Neymar was born on February 5, 1992, born in Sao Paulo. Neymar's full name is Neymar de Silver Santos jr. When Neymar was young he drew a lot of attention because of his great skill as such a young player. He became a big a star when he stared to play for Santos as a teenager. In may 2013, the gifted teenager Neymar announced that he would move to Europe to play with Lionel Messi on the Spanish team FC Barcelona.
Neymar is on the top but will he stay on top Neymar is on the top of the soccer world by being one of the best soccer players in the world. Neymar got some of his fame for when he had made the Brazilian FIFA team in 2010. He has 35 goals international goals on 57 caps. It was pretty easy for Neymar to get in to soccer growing up in Brazil a country that takes pride in their soccer. Neymar is playing for FC Barcelona beside Lional Messi but he played for Santos from 2009-2013.
Neymars awards and milestones
When Neymar was 19 he won the 2011 South Africa Player of the Year award, after he had came third in 2010.Then the the next year in 2012 he had won it again. In 2003 Neymar joined Santos the Brazilian soccer club, after carrying the team up the rankings he was promoted to the first team squad. He made his debut in 2009 for Santos and he was voted the best young player of 2009 Campeonato Paulista. He also won that award the next two year in 2010 and 2011 seasons. While playing that game he caught the attention of the former Brazil players, Pele and Romario. They suggested to the coach that Neymar should play for the 2010 World Cup Brazilian team. They thought he deserved the spot that they went to the trouble of signing a petition but unfortunetley he was not chosen for that team, but he played in an International friendly against the United States where he scored in the 28th minute. In 2011 he played against Scotland which he scored 2 goals in the match. after his second goal a banana was thrown at him from the stands, causing him to believe that was an act of racism. Neymer became a father to a baby boy named David Lucas in August 2011, Neymar was 19 years old when the baby was born. He baby was born in Sao Paulo just like his father Neymar. The baby was 2.8 kilogram and he was a perfectly heathy baby. Neymar has had many sponsorship including Nike, Panasonic and Volkswagon. He has made a lot of money off these. He also is a Christian and goes to church regularly giving 10% of his wages
back to the church.
